Default Phantom of the Opera

Any one an Andrew Loyd Weber fan? I love his musicals. Of all the live musicals I've seen, Phantom hasn't been one of them. However, I did see the movie and LOVED it. I don't have anything to compare it to, but I thought the director and producers did a good job on the film.

Default RE: Phantom

I performed a concert with Jan Horvath who performed the roles of Christine and Carlotta in the original Broadway company of The Phantom of the Opera. Jan has also perfomed in The Threepenny Opera, Oliver, and Cats. Also on that program were Susan Egan, who performed the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Belle in Broadway's Beauty and the Beast; Voice of Meg: Hercules; Angel: Lady and the Tramp II and Jodi Benson, who is most well known as the voice of Ariel: The Little Mermaid.

I was a really neat concert. Here is a picture of them before the concert:

Left to right: Jan Horvath, Jodi Benson, Susan Egan

Yeah the Director and the Producers really deserve a million thumbs up for this piece. I love the Outcome and the story.

Never seen the true musical, but was lucky enough to see this performed on Ice. Really enjoyed and loved some of the songs. For all opera and light-rock fans, check out Blink 182's cover of The Phantom of the Opera (is here, inside my mind...) actually pretty good.
